Request for Proposals: Older Americans Act Title III Services
The Buckeye Hills Regional Council (BHRC) is seeking proposals from qualified agencies to deliver services under the Older Americans Act Title III. These services are intended for individuals aged 60 and older residing in the following counties: Athens, Hocking, Meigs, Monroe, Morgan, Noble, Perry, and Washington.
Eligible Services
Available funding may support the following programs:
Nutrition Services: Home-delivered meals and congregate dining
In-Home Services: Transportation, homemaker assistance, grocery delivery
Legal Services
Caregiver Support Services
Evidence-Based Programs
Funding Period
Successful applicants will receive funding for a 24-month period, beginning January 1, 2026, and ending December 31, 2027.
Available Funding
Title III funding for Program Years 2026–2027 is provided by the Ohio Department of Aging. Final budget amounts for this period are pending and will be amended once allocations are confirmed.
Please note: Award amounts may be reduced at any time during the contract period if federal or state funding levels are decreased.
Funding Allocation
In accordance with BHRC policy, available funds will be distributed to each county in the Planning and Service Area (PSA) based on a funding formula. This formula is based on U.S. Census data, where available. Each county will receive only the funds allocated to it through this formula.
BHRC reserves the right to reallocate funds to address service gaps identified during the proposal review process to ensure adequate service delivery throughout the region.
